How much does a Velocity Kit Aircraft cost?

Because the UK has a Minimum Airspeed requirement of 61 knots, only kit aircraft that can fly at, or less, than this speed will be allowed a Permit to Fly by the Light Aircraft Association (LAA), who approve all kit aircraft in the UK. The only Velocity that can make this criterion is the SE (Standard Elite) because its Minimum Airspeed is specified at 60 knots, so is the only Velocity Aircraft kit that can be sold in the UK to run on a ‘G’ registration, which is essential if staying in the UK for more than 28 days at a time.

‍Velocity Aircraft UK is the exclusive agent for the Velocity SE kits in the UK and Ireland, and will be sold at the same retail price as those in the US by Velocity Aircraft, who are based at Sebastian Airport in Florida. Also, only the Fast-Build kit will be sold, as all the fibre-glassing is done by Velocity in the US, so done correctly and is much safer, leaving just assembly.
